Install
to deploy VCM for Active Directory to the Domain Controllers from which you want to
collect Active Directory data.
3. Select the Domain Controllers on which you want to install VCM for Active Directory. We recommend
that you install VCM for Active Directory on all Domain Controllers.

VCM for AD will operate with only a single domain controller configured with VCM for AD as
both the FDS/RDS (Forest Data Source/Replication Data Source). However, to collect important non-
replicated attributes such as Last Logon, it is essential that you configure as many domain controllers
