38 Preparing the Vivo 65 for Use

Vivo 65 users manual

Connect a Single Limb Circuit with Leakage Port

The leakage from the mask or leakage port should be at least 12 l/min at
4 cmH

2

O, to prevent rebreathing of exhaled air. The recommended leak-

age is 20 to 50 l/min at 10 cmH

2

O pressure.

Connect a Single Limb Circuit with Active Exhalation 
Valve

Connect the patient circuit to 

the patient air outlet of the venti-
lator.

Connect the other end of the patient circuit to the leakage port or
