Fault:
Unmown grass at edge of mowing area
Possible cause:
– Edge mowing switched off
– Perimeter wire routed inaccurately
– Grass is out of reach of mowing blade
Remedy:
– Mow the edge once or twice per week

– Check the routing of the perimeter wire
( Ö 11.14); check the clearances with
the iRuler ( Ö 12.5)
– Cut the unmown areas regularly using a
suitable grass trimmer
Fault:
No wire signal
Possible cause:
– Docking station switched off – no LED
illuminates
– Docking station not connected to mains
supply – no LED illuminates
– Perimeter wire not connected to the
docking station – red LED flashes
– Break in perimeter wire – red LED
flashes
– Robotic mower and docking station are
not linked
– Electronics fault
Remedy:
– Switch on the docking station ( Ö 13.1)
– Check power supply to the docking
station ( Ö 9.5)
– Connect the perimeter wire to the
docking station ( Ö 9.7)
– Search for wire break ( Ö 16.7), then
repair perimeter wire using wire

Fault:
The robotic mower is not receiving any
GPS signal
Possible cause:
– The connection to the satellites is
currently being established
– 3 or fewer satellites within range
– The machine is in a dead spot
Remedy:
– No further action required; it can take a
few minutes for the connection to be
established
– Avoid or remove obstacles that might
be blocking the signal (e.g. trees,
canopies)
Fault:
The robotic mower cannot establish a
mobile radio connection
Possible cause:
– The mowing area is in a dead spot
– The M2M service contract has expired
– The radio module is not activated
Remedy:
– Extend the contract at a VIKING

Fault:
The robotic mower cannot be reached
using the app
Possible cause:
– Radio module inactive
– Robotic mower in standby mode
– No Internet connection
– Robotic mower not associated with the

Remedy:
– The radio module is switched off during
homing and docking, it is then activated
again and the robotic mower can be
reached
– Activate the robotic mower by pressing
the button, set "GPRS" energy mode
