Remove the nuts from the refrigerant
connections

Type AWS/AWS-AC 107, 110, 113:
Push the nuts onto the associated
refrigerant lines from the external
unit.
Type AWS/AWS-AC 104:
Replace nuts with union nuts sup-
plied (

¾ UNF for hot gas line).
2. Type AWS/AWS-AC 104 and 107:
Swage the pipe ends of the refriger-
ant lines.
Type AWS/AWS-AC 110 and 113:
Use solder fittings.
Note
Solder fittings using an inert gas.
3.
Fit refrigerant lines and insulate them
to provide protection from heat and
vapour diffusion.
Tighten the nuts with the following torque:
