System Clock Set
Description
The System Attendant can set the system Time/Date.
Operation
System Attendant
To set the system clock
1. Press the
[TRANS/PGM]
button.
2. Dial “041”, the Attendant Station Program code.
3. Dial six (6) digits for the Date (MM/DD/YY) or
[HOLD/SAVE]
to skip the Date.
4. Dial four (4) digits for the Time (HH/MM) or
[HOLD/SAVE]
to skip the Time setup.
5. Press the
[HOLD/SAVE]
button, confirmation tone is heard and Attendant station returns to
idle status.
To synchronize the system clock to the ISDN
1. Press the
[TRANS/PGM]
button.
2. Dial “046”, the Attendant Station Program code.
3. Dial “1” to synchronize the Date and Time to the ISDN.
4. Press the
[HOLD/SAVE]
button, confirmation tone is heard and Attendant station returns to
idle status.
Conditions
1. The time is entered as a 24-hour format.
2. If an NTP (Network Time Protocol server is assigned, the system will check the time
every ten (10) minutes. If the system time is more than 10 seconds off, the system time
is synchronized with the NTP server. This will override the Attendant setting.
