Speakerphone
Description
Your iPECS IP or LDP Phone is equipped with speakerphone circuitry enabling the telephone to
be used hands-free in two-way conversations.
Operation
iPECS IP & LDP Phones
To activate the speakerphone
1. Press the
[SPEAKER]
button,
[SPEAKER]
LED lights steady.
To switch from Handset to Speakerphone
1. Press the
[SPEAKER]
button,
[SPEAKER]
LED lights steady.
2. Replace Handset, Speakerphone activated.
To terminate a speakerphone call
1. Press the
[SPEAKER]
button,
[SPEAKER]
LED extinguishes.
Conditions
1. If Automatic Speaker Select is enabled for the station, pressing a DSS, outside Line or
Speed Dial button will automatically activate the speakerphone.
2. The
[MUTE]
button LED indicates the status of the Microphone, when lit the
Microphone is inactive.
3. When Group Listen is enabled, pressing the
[SPEAKER]
button while using the
handset will send audio to both the Handset and Speaker. However, only the Handset
microphone is active. In order to activate the Speakerphone Microphone, the Handset
must be placed on-hook.
4. Each iPECS IP and LDP Phone equipped with Speakerphone is allowed/denied
Speakerphone operation in the system database.
5. When Headset operation is assigned for the station, the Speakerphone is disabled and
the
[SPEAKER]
button activates the Headset audio path instead of the speaker.
