COCKPIT
Removal
1.
Unlock the rear seat/cowl, and lift clear.
2.
Remove the front seat.
3.
Disconnect the ba
tt
e
ry,
negative (black) lead first.
4.
Remove both mirrors at the cockpit fairing.

Remove the front duct covers.
6.
Remove the cockpit securing screw in each air
intake duct.

7.
Release the quarter-turn fasteners on each side
of the cockpit.
8.
Disconnect the two air ducts behind the fairings
and ease the cockpit forward to disengage it from
its mountings.
9.
Disconnect the position light bulb holder from the
li ght before final removal.
Installation
1. Refitting is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
• Ensure the air ducts are located correctly.
• Reconnect the ba
tt
ery, positive (red) lead first.
• Check the position light for correct operation
after refi
tt
ing the bulb holder.
