Chapter 5

EASyPLUS Configuration

Overview

This chapter describes the procedures used to define monitoring assignments, set location and

alert filters, and enter output devices and protocols.

Changes made to the configuration will have no effect on the

EASyPLUS until the settings are uploaded by clicking the

Program Configuration button on the Main tab.

The Main Tab

The

Main

tab is used to set up communications between the EASyPLUS Configuration

software and the EASyPLUS Encoder/Decoder, and to send or receive configuration data to

and from the device. The parameters on the

Main

tab must be configured before any other

changes in the program are made.
