• You cannot change the cluster IP pool when the switch is currently in Commander
mode. Commander mode must first be disabled.
Example
cluster member
This command configures a Candidate switch as a cluster Member. Use the
no
form
to remove a Member switch from the cluster.

- The MAC address of the Candidate switch.
member-id
- The ID number to assign to the Member switch.
(Range: 1-16)

• This command only operates through a Telnet connection to the Commander
switch. Managing cluster Members using the local console CLI on the
Commander is not supported.
• There is no need to enter the username and password for access to the
Member switch CLI.
