Class Map Configuration
Command Usage
• First enter the
class-map
command to designate a class map and enter the
Class Map configuration mode. Then use the
match
command to specify the
fields within ingress packets that must match to qualify for this class map.
• Only one
match
command can be entered per class map.
Example
This example creates a class map called “rd_class#1,” and sets it to match packets
marked for DSCP service value 3:
This example creates a class map call “rd_class#2,” and sets it to match packets
marked for IP Precedence service value 5:
This example creates a class map call “rd_class#3,” and sets it to match packets
marked for VLAN 1:
policy-map
This command creates a policy map that can be attached to multiple interfaces, and
enters Policy Map configuration mode. Use the
no
form to delete a policy map and
return to Global configuration mode.
