Inspection

1 . Inspect the radiator fo r leaks from

the upper tank, lo w e r tank and the
c o r e . R ep air if n e c e s s a r y .

2. Inspect the radiator c o r e fin fo r

clogging the air p a ss a g es . If ne

c e s s a r y , re p a ir the fins.

3 . If the clog of the radiator c o r e ex

cee ds 20 percent of the entire
a r e a , re p la ce the radiator assem

bly .

4. Check the radiator cap p r e s s u re

relief va lve and the vacuum relief

va lve springs f o r p r o p e r tension,

and also check the packing fo r

dam age. R eplace if n e c e s s a r y .

Installation

F ollow the removal p roce d u res in the

r e v e r s e o r d e r on the respective s e r ie s
and after installation, check f o r w ater
