2. Position the stator with the recti­
fie r holder onto the rectifier end
f r a m e .
Install the insulators onto the posi­
tive side rectifier holder and onto
the MB 11 terminal at c o rr e c t posi­
tions, and then tighten the holder
and ! 'B 11 terminal retaining nuts.

3. Install the felt ring ( 2 ) , felt c o v e r
(3 ) so that the convex surface of
the c o v e r will face towards the
pulley
side onto the drive end
fram e ( 1 ) . P a c k multipurpose
g r e a s e into the bearing ( 4 ) , and
install the bearing.
Next, install the bearing retainer
(5) with three retaining s c r e w s .

6. P r e s s in the brushes against the
brush spring tensions into the
brush holder.
N ext, insert a w i r e through the
a cc e s s hole in the rectifier end
fra m e , and also into the hole p r o ­
vided in the brush holder to p r e ­
vent the brushes from falling.
With the brushes positioned as a-
b o v e , assemble the d rive end fram e
onto the rectifier end f r a m e , and
tighten them with the three retain­
ing bolts.

7. Install the space c o lla r, key, fan
and the pulley onto the ro to r shaft,
and install the retaining nut.
