5. Adjust belt tension as follows:
A. Loosen the nut securing carriage bolt (4) and the idler arm (3), and rotate
the arm to remove tension from the belt (2).
B. Use a beam-style torque wrench to apply
6 to 7 N∙m (55 to 60 in-lb)
of
force to the upper idler-arm socket-head screw as shown in
,
and tighten the nut to secure the carriage bolt (4) and the idler arm (3).
Check the belt tension; refer to step

C. Ensure that the reel drive gasket (5) is in position, and assemble the
reel drive cover (6) to the reel drive housing (1) with the 4 socket head
screws (7).
D. Initially torque the socket head screws to
1.7 to 4.5 N∙m (15 to 40 in-lb)
.
Then using an alternating pattern torque the screws to
9.6 to 10.7 N∙m
(85 to 95 in-lb)
.
