PPPoE Commands
E-DOC-CTC-20040216-0002 v1.0
EXAMPLE:
RELATED COMMANDS:
idletrigger
Consider the link being idle if no traffic is sent and/or received during the
idle time. Choose between:
•
RxTx
: The idle time period restarts when a packet is transmitted or
received.
•
Rx
: The idle time period restarts when a packet is received.
Transmitted packets are ignored.
•
Tx
: The idle time period restarts when a packet is transmitted.
Received packets are ignored.
The default is
RxTx
.
OPTIONAL
addrtrans
Automatically enable address translation for the IP address of this link
(pat) or do not use address translation (none). The default is
none
.
OPTIONAL
unnumbered
Takes the local IP address from the
laddr
field and remote IP address from
the IP address pool assigned to the incoming PPPoE link.
In case the unnumbered parameter is disabled, the same IP address is
used for each connection on the server side, thus reducing the number of
used IP addresses.
