Audio processing
Test signals
To facilitate device installation and/or testing, 2 types of test signal can
be substituted for digital audio inputs:
„ "Sine tone": 2.114 kHz 20 bits @0dBFS for both the left and right
channel. This test signal is used to calibrate the audio system (encoder
and decoder)

PVR descriptor support i.e. insertion of AU -
information in adaptation field of MPEG-2 Transport
Stream according to ETSI TS 101 154 V1.8.1. This
feature is used by Personal Video Recorders (PVR) to
process streams (especially encrypted ones because
the adaptation field is not encrypted)

Picture Definition: 4 levels (with Auto level ) set by the
User

IDR: I-pictures are replaced by IDR (Instantaneous
Decoder Refresh) pictures

: IDR mode is only recommended in the event of
interoperability problems with some decoders

If there is no video input signal and the video
component is not set to Off air, the Encoder will
generate a video component containing a black
pattern or a color pattern.
