Network requirements

The instrument is factory-configured for IPv4 TCP/IP communication and includes a

fast Ethernet adapter (10/100 Mbps) with a RJ45-type connector for integrating the

device into a local area network (LAN).
By default, the instrument is configured to use the Dynamic Host Configuration

Protocol (DHCP) but can use a static IP address.
The instrument should be configured behind a firewall. Contact Support for

information on required firewall exceptions.
