DANGER
Entanglement Hazard.
Contact with moving belt will result in serious injury or death.
Stay clear of moving belt.
Do not operate this machine without all guards and covers in place. Switch off and lockout and
tagout before adjusting or servicing the machine.
NOTICE
Belt adjustment is by means of a adjusting screw to increase or decrease the tension that is placed
on the drive belts. Locknuts on the tension screws must be tight whilst running the machine.
After replacing drive Belts remember to check the tension after 4 hours run in time, check again
after 24 hours.
PROCEDURE
1. Observe all safety warnings.
2. Shut down the machine and implement the lockout and tag out procedure.
3. Remove the crusher drive belt inspection guard (Item 1).

4. Exert a force of about 10 kg on the back of the belt and check that its sagging is between
10 and 15 mm.
5. If tension needs to be restored, act on the screw (Item 1) of the belt-tensioner tie rod to
reach correct tension.
