Injection filter inspection
Opening the injection filter manually
1- Rotate the filter body counterclockwise to open.
2- Be careful with the spring force when opening. Protect your eyes from
accidents. When opening, remove the filter from inside the base.
3- Clean the parts individually. Do not use fabrics or papers that can release lint
or particles. Clean the sintered filter with jets of air, water, solvents, descaling
agents or ultrasound. The use of acids is not recommended, as it may damage
the filter cells.
If the filter element is still clogged after cleaning, replace it.
4- Clean the hose and the base of the Jet Breaker internally with air and
kerosene. The use of water is not recommended, as it may contaminate the test
fluid.
Check the o´rings on the set. If any are broken or deformed, replace them.
NOTE: Open the filter assembly by unscrewing it with your hands. Do not
use wrenches or pliers to close the filter, as there is a risk of rupture of the
o´rings.
ATTENTION: The use of the filter with the sintered element different from
the one supplied by TECNOMOTOR, dirty or obstructed can cause rupture
of the hoses and deviations of measurement values, as well as damage to
the measuring system and loss of warranty of the equipment.
