Noises
When the equipment is under high pressure, it generates noise that can reach 90
dB (A) level within a period of up to 1 hour, which can cause hearing damage.
During operation of the machine, the operator is required to wear a shell-type ear
protector as shown below.
Corrosion
The calibration fluid may erode some types of rubbers and plastics.
- Prevention
•
Avoid contact of test fluid with parts that are not part of the equipment,
particularly pieces of rubber and plastic.
•
Always clean the devices after testing.
Eyes
The calibration fluid can hit the eyes in case of leaks during testing with an open
safety cover.
- Prevention
•
Always use the equipment with the closed safety cover.
•
Tighten connections enough to seal the connections.
•
In case of contact with eyes, rinse them and seek medical attention if irritation
develops.
