8.5 Replacing the Main Board
The CPU board is replaced using the following procedure:
1. Switch the instrument OFF.
2. Remove the main power cable from the socket.
3. Remove the instrument top cover.
4. Remove the Epack top cover.
5. Disconnect the Power Board on connector ST20.
6. Disconnect the three optical switch connectors.
7. Disconnect the power supply connector on ST21.
8. Disconnect the connector to printer interface on ST 7.
9. Disconnect the connector to RS 232 on ST 8.
10. Remove the three screws as shown in the picture.

11. Carefully pull the CPU board out of the instrument.
12. Replace the CPU board.
13. Replace all parts in reverse order.
