2.12 REPLACING THE FEED ROLLER (PRINT BLOCK)
1) Open the top cover, and turn the head lever and pinch roller lever counterclockwise to open the
print head and the pinch roller. Then open the ribbon shaft holder plate. (Refer to Section 2.2.)
2) Remove media guide plate from the printer. (Refer to Section 2.9)
3) Remove the locking screw to detach the paper guide B.
4) Remove the SMW-3x6 screw and SMW-4x8 screw to detach the holder plate, feed roller holder,
and feed roller.
5) Replace the feed roller with a new one. Then put the belt on the feed roller and install it in the
printer.
6) Attach the feed roller holder and the holder plate to the feed roller. Place the holder plate in the U-
shape cut. Secure the holder plate with the SMW-4x8 and SMW-3x6 screws while pressing it
down hard.
7) Reassemble the printer in the reverse order of removal.
