The B-ISDN network that is supported is the SDH STM-1/SONET STS-3c Monomode Optical.

The module is supplied with a protective sealing cap, which protects the optical components
from ingress of dust and foreign bodies. The protective sealing cap should be fitted during transit
and whenever the interface is not in use.
