3. Fully retract the 3rd boom section.
4. Fix an end of the wire rope for retracting the 4th
boom section to the rear end of the 4th boom
section. Then pass the other end through the
opening at the upper surface of the 2nd boom
section.
[NOTICE]
Make sure the retaining ring is securely put in place
and the wire rope end is secured.
5. Place the wire rope for retracting the 4th boom
section in the groove of the sheave for retracting
the 4th boom section.
Then insert the sheave through the opening at the
upper surface of the 2nd boom section and fix it
with a pin. Install the wire rope guide.
[NOTICE]
Install the sheave with its clinched side facing
outwardly.
6. Pass the wire rope for retracting the 4th boom
section through the adjuster assy.
Then pass the wire rope for retracting the 4th
boom section through the equalizer sheave and
install the wire rope guide support.
[NOTICE]
To prevent the wire rope from kinking, be sure to
make it straight once before passing it through
various guides.
Pass the wire rope according to the following
routing diagram.
7. With the same procedure as step 5, fix the sheave
for retracting the 4th boom section to the 2nd
boom section.
8. With the same procedure as step 4, fix the other
end of the wire rope for retracting the 4th boom
section to the rear end of the 4th boom section.
[NOTICE]
Make sure the retaining ring is securely put in place
and the wire rope end is secured.
