14. Put an electric lamp in at the front end of the top
boom section to illuminate the inside of the boom.
Look into the boom from the rear end of the boom
and make sure that the wire ropes for extending
the 3rd boom section are positioned as shown
below.
[NOTICE]
If it is difficult to visually check the wire ropes, pull
one end of the wire rope for extending the 3rd boom
section and make sure that the other end moves at
the timing when the wire rope is pulled.
If the other end does not move, the wire rope for
extending the 3rd boom section is pinched between
the boom and the boom telescoping cylinder.
Cautiously pull out the support A,B and the boom
telescoping cylinder while being careful not to
damage the wire ropes, and then install the boom
telescoping cylinder again.
15. Fully insert the boom telescoping cylinder into the
2nd boom section and fix it with two pins.
Put retaining rings to the pins.
[NOTICE]
Make sure the retaining rings are securely put in
place and the pins are secured.
16. Pass the wire ropes for extending top boom
section through the openings at the upper surface
of the 3rd boom section.
[NOTICE]
As the wire ropes for extending the top boom
section do not have enough length, pass them
through the openings by retracting the boom little by
little.
17. Fully retract the 4th boom section.
18. Fix the wire ropes for extending the top boom
section to the front end of the 3rd boom section.
[NOTICE]
The dimension Ld that was measured during
disassembly can be used as the reference target
when screwing nuts.
19. Fix the wire ropes for retracting the top boom
section to the front end of the 3rd boom section.
