1D-33 Engine Mechanical:
• Apply molybdenum oil solution to the position rings.
M/O: Molybdenum oil (MOLYBDENUM OIL
SOLUTION)
• Position the piston ring gaps as shown in the figure.
Before inserting each piston into the cylinder, check
that the gaps are properly positioned.
• Apply bond lightly to the mating surface of crankcase.
: Sealant 99000–31110 (SUZUKI BOND
No.1215 or equivalent)
• Install the dowel pins.
Cylinder
• Install the new gaskets (1), front and rear.
CAUTION
!
Use a new gaskets (1) to prevent oil leakage.
• Apply molybdenum oil solution to the sliding surface
of the pistons and cylinder walls.
M/O: Molybdenum oil (MOLYBDENUM OIL
SOLUTION)
• Hold the piston rings in proper positions, and insert
each of the pistons into the respective cylinders.
NOTE
The cylinders can be distinguished by the
embossed-letters, “F” and “R”.
