Helmet Holder s

Hook your helmet on the helmet
holder
a nd lock the se a t.
S IDE S TAND
An interlock system is provided to
cut off the ignition circuit when the
side st
a nd is down a nd the tr a ns-
mission is in a ny ge a r other th a n
neutr a l.
The side st a nd/ignition interlock
system works a s follows:
• If the side st a nd is down a nd
the tr a nsmission is in ge a r, the
engine c a n not be st a rted.
• If the engine is running a nd the
tr a nsmission is shifted into
ge a r with the side st a nd down,
the engine will stop running.
• If the engine is running a nd the
side st a nd is put down with the
tr a nsmission in ge a r, the
engine will stop running.

WARNING
Ridin g with a helmet fa s tened
to the helmet holder can inter-
fere with rider control.
Never carry a helmet fa s tened
to the helmet holder. Fix the
helmet
s ecurely atop the s eat if
you mu s t carry it.
