pletely removed, rinse off the
detergent with running w
a ter.
4. After rinsing, wipe off the
motorcycle with a wet ch a mois
or cloth a nd a llow it to dry in
the sh a de.
5. Check c a refully for d a m a ge to
p a inted surf a ces. If there is
a ny d a m a ge, obt a in “touch-up”
p a int a nd “touch-up” the d a m-
a ge following the procedure
below:
a . Cle a n a ll d a m a ged spots
a nd a llow them to dry.
b. S tir the p a int a nd “touch-
up” the d a m a ged spots
lightly with a sm a ll brush.
c. Allow the p a int to dry com-
pletely.
NOTE: The headlight lens can be
fogged after washing the motorcy-
cle or riding in the rain. Headlight
fogging will be cleared gradually
when the headlight is turned on.
When clearing the headlight lens
fogging, run the engine to avoid
battery discharge.
