“LOCK” po s ition
All electric a l circuits a re off. The
key c a n be removed a nd the
steering will be locked. Turn the
steering
a ll the w a y to the left a nd
push down the key a nd turn it to
the “LOCK” position.
NOTE:
•
Move the handlebar to the
right and left, to make sure that
the steering has been locked
securely.
• When it cannot be locked eas-
ily, turn the key to the “LOCK”
position, moving the handlebar
slightly to the right.

locked.

Movin g the motorcycle while
the s teerin g i s locked can be
hazardou s . You could lo s e your
balance and fall, or you could
drop the motorcycle.
S top the motorcycle and place
it on the s ide s tand before lock-
in g the s teerin g . Never attempt
to move the motorcycle when
the
s teerin g i s locked.
