LOADING GUIDELINE S
This motorcycle is prim a rily
intended to c a rry sm a ll items
when you a re not riding with a
p a ssenger. Follow the lo a ding
guidelines below:
•
B a l a nce the lo a d between the
left a nd right side of the motor-
cycle a nd f a sten it securely.
• Keep c a rgo weight low a nd a s
close to the center of the
motorcycle
a s possible.
• Do not a tt a ch l a rge or he a vy
items to the h a ndleb a rs, front
forks or re a r fender.
• Check th a t both tires a re prop-
erly infl a ted to the specified
tire pressure for your lo a ding
conditions. Refer to p a ge 7-40.
• Improperly lo a ding your motor-
cycle c a n reduce your a bility to
b a l a nce a nd steer the motor-
cycle. You should ride a t
reduced speeds, less th a n 1 3 0
km/h (80 mph), when the
c
a rgo is lo a ded or a ccessory
is fitted.
• Adjust suspension setting a s
necess a ry.
