Oil Pre ss ure Indicator
When the ignition switch is in the
“ON” position but the engine h

not been st a rted, the symbol

comes on. As soon
a s the engine is st a rted, the sym-
bol “

” a nd the indic a tor light
should go out.
When the engine oil pressure
drops under the norm
a l oper a ting
r a nge, the symbol “

” in the
displ a y a ppe a rs a nd the indic a tor
light
D
comes on.
NOTICE
Ridin g the motorcycle with the
en g ine coolant temperature
indicator li g ht lit can cau s e
s eriou s en g ine dama g e due to
overheatin g .
If the en g ine coolant tempera-
ture indicator li g ht come s on,
s top the en g ine to let it cool.
Do not run the en g ine until the
en g ine coolant temperature
indicator li g ht g oe s off.
NOTICE
After s tartin g the en g ine, open-
in g the throttle or runnin g the
motorcycle with the oil pre s -
s ure indicator li g ht turned on
may adver s ely affect the
en g ine.
Make s ure that the oil pre ss ure
indicator li g ht ha s turned off
before operatin g the throttle or
runnin g the motorcycle.
NOTICE

tran s mi ss ion.
If the oil pre ss ure indicator
li g ht come s on, indicatin g low
oil pre ss ure, s top the en g ine
immediately. Check the oil level
and add oil if nece
ss ary. If
there i s a proper amount of oil
and the li g ht s till doe s not g o
out, have your authorized
S uzuki dealer or a qualified
mechanic in s pect your motor-
cycle.
