S PARK PLUG S
Your motorcycle comes equipped
with
a n NGK CR9EIA-9 or
DEN S O IU27D sp a rk plugs. To
determine if the st a nd a rd sp a rk
plug is right for your us a ge, check
the color of the plug’s porcel a in
center electrode insul a tor a fter
motorcycle oper a tion. A light
brown color indic a tes th a t the plug
is correct. A white or d a rk insul a -
tor indic a tes th a t the engine m a y
need a djustment, or a nother plug
type m a y be needed. Consult
your S uzuki de a ler or a qu a lified
mech a nic if your plug insul a tor is
not a light brown color.

NOTE: If the above-named plugs
are not available, consult your
Suzuki dealer.
NOTE: This motorcycle uses a
resistor-type spark plug to avoid
jamming electronic parts.
Improper spark plug selection
may cause electronic interfer-
ence with your motorcycle’s igni-
tion system, resulting in
motorcycle performance prob-
lems. Use only the recommended
spark plugs.
