RECOMMENDATIONS

Your motorcycle requires pre-
mium unle
a ded g a soline with a
minimum pump oct a ne r a ting of
90 ((R+M)/2 method). In some
a re a s, the only fuels th a t a re
a v a il a ble a re oxygen a ted fuels.
NOTE:
•
The GSX-R600 engine is
designed to use premium
unleaded gasoline only. Use
premium unleaded gasoline
under all riding conditions.
• If the engine develops some
trouble like lack of acceleration
or insufficient power, the cause
may be due to the fuel the
motorcycle uses. In such case,
try changing to a different gas
station. If the situation is not
improved by changing, consult
your Suzuki dealer.

NOTE: Oxygenated fuels are
fuels which contain oxygen-carry-
ing additives such as alcohol.

Blends of unle a ded g a soline a nd
eth a nol (gr a in a lcohol), a lso
known a s GA S OHOL, a re com-
merci a lly a v a il a ble in some a re a s.
Blends of this type m a y be used in
your motorcycle if they a re no
more th a n 10% eth a nol. M a ke
sure this g a soline-eth a nol blend
h a s oct a ne r a tings no lower th a n
those recommended for g a soline.
Use the recommended g a soline.
