1.3 Equipment
Description
1.3.1 General
The 20 kHz HF APR Generator is a high-frequency constant potential system with
the following features:
•
30 kW constant potential output from a single phase line.
•
Two-point control (kVp and mAs) in manual mode. Maximum available mA
is automatically selected for minimum exposure time. Operator override is
allowed.
•
Protection circuitry to prolong tube life and increase system performance.
•
Self-diagnostic displays to inform users and service personnel of system
condition.
•
The generator is designed to fit entirely within the table base.
•
The InnoVet Select HF APR system is a fully integrated table/tubestand
structure with the generator and transformer installed within the table base
for use in veterinary radiography.
