Xi Multi Basket — Loading

CAUTION — Instrument Care

l

ALWAYS confirm compatibility with the instrument manufacturer.

l

ALWAYS follow the manufacturer instructions if processing instruments
with special characteristics, e.g. fiber optics or rigid optics.

l

ALWAYS follow the manufacturer instructions when processing
instruments.

l

ALWAYS open box-jointed instruments.

l

ALWAYS disassemble instruments that are designed to be taken apart.

1.

The instrument tips should be open to allow for cleaning of all surfaces.

2.

Inspect basket hoses before loading. Make sure
all hoses and connectors are in good condition.
If any hose is showing signs of kink or damage it
should be replaced.

3.

ONLY Xi stapler instruments can be accommodated in the front two support
positions of the basket, shown in the image below. DO NOT attempt to put staplers
in other positions in the basket, or put non-stapler instruments into these positions.
