Disinfect

On the left is the quantity of

chemical 2

dispensed (0 to 2000 ml, or 0 to 67.6 fl.oz). In
the middle is the

water temperature

(0 °C to +93 °C, or +32 °F to +199 °F). On the
right is the

duration

in minutes (0 to 20). If

duration is set to zero, this stage is not
performed.

IMPORTANT

Thermal disinfection requires a combination of time and temperature as
defined in disinfection standards for surgical instruments. Factory- set
disinfection wash programs meet or exceed FDA requirements for
intermediate-level disinfection and are ISO 15883-1:2006 +AMD1:2014
compliant.

Outside of factory- set disinfection wash programs, disinfection should NOT
be assumed. It is the responsibility of the equipment owner/operator to
ensure that time and temperature settings within the disinfection rinse
program parameters comply with the level of disinfection expected.

Drying

In the center is the

duration

of the drying stage

in minutes (0 to 20). If the value is set to zero,
drying is not performed.

5.

Save Changes

If an unlocked wash program has been edited,
the operator is prompted to save the changes,
or cancel the edit. If no changes have been
made, only the cancel option is enabled, and is
used to return to the supervisor menu main
selections. Touch

Cancel

to

discard any changes made to a program or exit viewing a locked program.
