3-10. EJECT PROCEDURE OF A CASSETTE TAPE WHEN THERE IS TAPE SLACK

(MANUAL EJECT)

Be careful not to damage the tape when taking the cassette tape out.

If an error is detected:

1. Press the

[EJECT]

key to enter Emergency EJECT mode (Refer to section 3-3.) and take the cassette tape out.

If the cassette tape cannot be taken out with the procedure described above:

1. Enter the SERVICE SUPPORT mode and select

MANUAL EJECT referring to section 4,

“Maintenance menu.”

2. Follow the instructions on the monitor to take out

the cassette tape.

When the following message appears, turn

the rotation detection pulley of the gear box

assembly by hand in the direction of the

arrow.

When the following message appears, turn

the motor pulley in the direction of the arrow

and raise the cassette compartment to take the

tape out.
