The unit is equipped with shielding springs which have sharp edges.
Do not touch them with bare hands. Pay careful attention when servicing.
1.
Separate the player and recorder. (Refer to Section 1-6-1.)
2.
Remove the upper frame. (Refer to Section 1-6-3.)
3.
Remove the harnesses (A) from board holders.
4.
Loosen the four screws fully.

Each screw is held by a stop washer. Do not separate the washer from the screw when loosening.
5.
Disconnect the three connectors, CN600 and CN601 on the MB-757 board and CN1 on the CP-317
board.
6.
Open the connector panel in the direction of the arrow.
7.
Install the connector panel in the reverse order of removal.

When installing, route as the following figure so that the harness (B) does not touch the blade of the
fan motor.
