Normally,
there is not much necessity to perform
step 5.
Observe the PB CTL signal at pin-15A of the edge connector on
the CD-17 board. With JOG mode, turn the search dial toward
counterclockwise
until the PB CTL pulse width reaches -5%
(-1.05 times normal) as against the -1 time normal speed and
in this instant set the REMOTE/LOCAL
switch to REMOTE
position, so that the speed can be maintained.
Adjust
R9 in similar manner to step 1 with -1.05 JOG mode.
