Crosstalk Adiustment
Set switch and disconnect
LINE INPUT. Using ordinary tape, record a few minutes of no
signal on AUDIO-2.
Play back the recording
and 18 dBm at 1 kHz and
15 at an interval of 1 minute over with AUDIO-l

Play back the entire recording and check and/or adjust as
follows.

Perform the same procedures in section 12-12 steps 1 and 2.
With machine still in playback of alignment tape, set AUDIO
MONITOR selector to AUDIO-l and adjust MONITOR/
PHONES level control (RVINR-05) for +8 dBm at AUDIO
MONITOR OUTPUT.

Set REC INHIBIT switch to OFF. Using ordinary tape, record
-2 dBm at 10 klIz, 50 Hz and 100 Hz in turn on AUDIO-l,2
and 3.
back the and measure the levels at AUDIO
MONITOR OUTPUT connector while the AUDIO
MONITOR selector to AUD-l, 2, and 3.
Step 4
Set
selector to Feed -2 dBm at 10 to
LINE INPUT and machine in record mode.
Check the AUDIO MONITOR OUTPUT levels while selecting
the AUDIO MONITOR selector to AUD-I, 2 and 3, then
compare the levels at 10 kHz measured in step 3.
