4-1. Outline
When all of the setups of the routing switcher are complete, check if the system is working properly.
The equipment which constitutes the routing switcher system containing the remote control panel is
equipped with the self-diagnosis function to check the system connection and status of each unit. As soon
as the power of the unit is supplied or the system is reset, this function begins operations which check
internal conditions and connections automatically. If a fault is detected, this is immediately displayed via
the following four methods.
For the error code indication on the CPU board, refer to the Installation Manual corresponding to each
model.

4-2. Function Check
There are two types of display modes for operation check from personal computer, which can be selected
depending upon the purpose. The first type of display mode is provided by the system status screen and
the other is provided by the [W] menu on the menu display of the primary station.
The system status screen shows result of self-diagnosis that is performed automatically by the primary
station when the power of the system is turned on. It also shows the logs that are issued by the respective
stations on the S-BUS data link in real time, enabling to use the system status display as the monitor of
system operation during system run.
To check the old system status, open the menu screen and call the menu item [W : SYSTEM STATUS
LOG].
This menu takes out only the system status from the memory, and displays the status, corresponding
station and time of occurrence. Therefore, the [W] menu is used to check the status and to find the station
issuing the error and the time of error occurrence.
