LEVEL MODE (BKS-R1617A/R3219A)
Select the operation method when the level selection
button is pressed.
SINGLE= Single level selection. Only the pressed level
selection button becomes a selection.
MULTI= Multiple level selection. Selection/no selec-
tion can be set for each level selection button
every time it is pressed. Use this when you
need to change multiple levels at once. When
all the level is unselected, it will go back to
original selection automatically.
DEST SELECTION (BKS-R1617A)
Sets whether to enable or disable the button assignment of
the destination from the panel.
DISABLE= Disallow changing of the button assignment
of the destination from the panel.
ENABLE= Allow changing of the button assignment of
the destination from the panel.
ILLUMINATION LEVEL (BKS-R1617A/R3219A)
Brightness of the panel button and the backlight for the
LCD unit can be adjusted in 8 levels. Select the bright-
ness according to the environment to be used in.

MONITOR DESTINATION (BKS-R1617A/R3219A)
Enter the destination name to monitor.
When the monitor function is on, it is possible to monitor
the selection status of the destination set here, so it will
be same as your own destination. “MONI” button needs
to be set on the source button of the “N: SET PANEL
TABLE” to use the monitor. (See N:SET PANEL
TABLE for description.)
Setting Method
Enter the destination name to monitor. Input method is
same as menu, selecting the name mode with
[F1:DSCRPT]
or
[F1:TPN]
and enter the TYPE

NUMBER or description name.

Set a mother panel.
Setting a mother panel
(1) Select “PANEL MODE =2” (mother panel).
(2) When a mother panel is selected, the setting
screen is displayed as shown below.
(3) Enter the vacant BLOCK number of BLOCK &
MOTHER STATION LIST for “

”.
(4) Press
[ENTER]
to confirm the setting.

Set a daughter panel.
Setting a daughter panel
(1) Select “PANEL MODE =3” (daughter panel).
(2) When a daughter panel is selected, the setting
screen is displayed as shown below.
(3) Enter the STATION ID of its mother panel for
MOTHER STATION ID.
(4) Press
[Enter]
to confirm the setting.
When the entered STATION ID is correct, the model
name of the mother panel is displayed as follows.

Even for a single unit that is configured with a
mother and daughter panels, modes need to be set
individually for each panel.

Set a mother panel first when setting the mother-
daughter configuration.
3.
The “PANEL MODE” setting alone does not com-
plete the mother-daughter configuration setting.
Make sure to set the BLOCK number of the mother
panel and the STATION ID (MOTHER ID) of the
daughter panel.
