the electronic unit’s stAtUs indicator is flashing
Note the number of pulses and then refer to the instructions given in the table below:

Repeat the quick commissioning process on
the motors (see pages 23 to 25).

Cell fault:
Cells blocked
Remove the obstacle blocking the cells.
Cells misaligned
Correct their alignment (see figure 11 page
36).
Cells incorrectly wired
Rewire the cells following the instructions
on page 36.

Short circuit on the electronic unit
BUS output (terminals 3-4)
Check the accessories connected to the
electronic unit BUS output.

Motors’ thermal protection device
activated
Allow motors to cool down until the
STATUS indicator lights up continuously.

Short circuit on the electronic unit
24 V output (terminals 5-6) or motor
short circuit
Check the accessory connected to the
electronic unit 24 V output.
Check the electrical connections of the
motor (see page 21).
Once the fault is corrected, the STATUS indicator should light up continuously.
If the
STATUS indicator continues to flash, contact one of our Somfy Hotline
advisors on 0113 391 30 30.
To activate automatic operation mode, a set of cells must have been installed before learning the
gate travel.
If you have installed the cells after learning the gate travel, you must:
Clear all settings (see «Clearing the remote controls and all settings», page 31).

Reconnect the cells (see page 36).

Repeat the quick commissioning process (see pages 23 to 25).

Disconnect the cells.
