Version 06
The refill pump is started when the level
in the aerosol generator drops below the
“minimum” level. The refill pump is then
switched off when the fill level in the aerosol
generator reaches the “reservoir full” level.
In operating modes 2 and 3, the pump is
always shut off once the level “reservoir full”
is reached.
DIP2/3 = ON/ON
A timeout error caused by exceeding the
permissible refill pump cycle time, which
is indicated by bit 0 in input byte 1, can be
cleared manually using this switch position
(see Chap. 8.2.1.5).
7.1.1.3 SKF communication connection
(DIP switch 4)
See Table 7
The SKF communication connection is en-
abled using DIP switch 4. This is necessary
if an AM1000 aerosol monitor is to be oper-
ated on the MQL system or, as is the case
with the UFD20-1-10X000, two aerosol
generators need to be connected with the
associated control units.
7.1.1.4 MQL system used
(DIP switch 6)
See Table 7
DIP switch 6 configures whether the MQL
system is a design with one aerosol gen-
erator (UFD10-1-XXX000) or two aerosol
generators (UFD20-1-10X000). This set-
ting is important for data exchange with the
machine tool’s control unit.
7.1.1.5 Process image used
(DIP switch 7)
See Table 7
DIP switch 7 sets the process image for data
exchange between the MQL control unit and
the machine control unit. A process image
with or without analog value transmission
can be selected.
The process image without analog value
transmission has the format shown in
Chapters 8.2.1 and 8.2.3. It is compatible
with earlier versions of the DigitalSuper
MQL system.
The process image with analog value trans-
mission also employs the data from Chapter
8.2.2.
