6.9 Pneumatic connection

Ensure that the compressed air connection
on the main air valve is closed before con-
necting the MQL system to the compressed
air supply.

The MQL system has a coupling socket
with nom. size 8 for hoses with an internal
diameter of 7-8 mm for connection to the
compressed air supply.
The MQL system can operate with an inlet
air pressure as low as 4 bar. However, peak
performance is reached with an inlet air
pressure ≥ 6 bar.
CAUTION
System pressure
The MQL system may only be oper-
ated with a max. inlet air pressure
of 10 bar. Observe the compressed
air requirements (Table 26).
