E010
This message can appear with units of the UFD20 type when
the MQL control unit with bus address 00 is not able to establish
a data link to the control unit that is connected directly to the
PROFIBUS via the fieldbus plug.
This message also appears with the UFD10 if the bus address 00
is impermissibly selected.
1. Check the data connection between the two con-
trol units of the UFD20.
2. Check whether the control unit that is connected
to the PROFIBUS via the fieldbus plug has a bus
address in the range 03 to 99.
3. Check whether DIP switch 6 is set to “ON.”

This message can appear with units of the UFD20 type when the
MQL control unit that is connected directly to the PROFIBUS via
the fieldbus plug is not able to establish a data link to the control
unit with bus address 00.
1. Check the data connection between the two con-
trol units of the UFD20.
2. Check whether the control unit (system 2) that is
not connected directly to the PROFIBUS (i.e., that
does not have the fieldbus plug) has bus address
00.
3. Check whether DIP switch 6 is set to “ON.”

This message appears with the UFD10 when DIP switch 8 is “ON,”
configuring an aerosol monitor as present and the aerosol monitor
is not recognized.
This message also appears with the UFD20 when DIP switch 8 is
“ON,” configuring an aerosol monitor as present in the left-hand
control unit (system 1), and the aerosol monitor is not recognized.
1. Check the data line to the aerosol monitor
2. Check the settings of DIP switch 2 in the aerosol
monitor. Set DIP switch 2 to “OFF”.
3. If an aerosol monitor will not be connected,
check whether DIP switch 8 is “OFF.”
