Once the WBT Mini is connected, the label changes to
Disconnect
. The serial
number and the battery voltage of the WBT Mini are shown. In the bottom right
corner of the presentation, the
Connector
icon switches to green colour.
Tip
If the WBT Mini is in Sleep (power save) state, connecting can take up to one
minute.
2 Select the
Operating Mode
button to switch between Autonomous mode and EK80 mode.
Note
The icon is blue when Autonomous mode is activated.
Installing the software driver for the serial
interface cable
A custom-made serial interface cable with a built-in commercial USB-to-serial line
converter is used when the autonomous transceiver is "programmed" with a mission plan.
The cable is manufactured by Kongsberg Maritime. Before you can use this cable, the
required software driver must be installed on your computer.
Prerequisites
For this task you need the dedicated software driver.
Context
You can find the software driver on the USB flash drive that was provided with your WBT
Mini system. You can also download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
