Procedure
1
Disconnect the power cable from the WBT
Mini.
Tip
Instead of disconnecting the power, you can set
the WBT Mini to Sleep state.

Open the access panel

Insert the USB flash drive.
Note
You can only use the USB flash drive provided
by Kongsberg Maritime with the WBT Mini.
The USB flash drive provided is exclusively
selected, tested and formatted for use with the WBT Mini. The use of another USB
flash drive - even if it is identical to the device provided - may reduce the operational
quality and the performance of the system.

Carefully inspect the O-ring for dents, nicks or other damages.
If you suspect that the O-ring is damaged, replace it.

Apply a thin film of silicon grease on the O-ring. (Parker Super-O-Lube)

Close the access panel.

Connect the power cable to the WBT Mini.
Further requirements
The USB flash drive provided for data storage is formatted with Linux EXT2. To read the
USB flash drive on your PC, a dedicated driver must be installed. The "ext2fsd" driver
required to read the USB flash drive is provided with the WBT Mini. You must install the
driver for the USB flash drive before you insert the USB flash drive.
Note
Do not attempt to communicate with the USB flash drive until the "ext2fsd" driver has been
installed on the PC. This may cause inadvertent formatting of the USB flash drive as a
Windows device. Formatted as a Windows device, the USB flash drive cannot be used in
the WBT Mini.
