Procedure
1 Download the software driver and the installation guide.
2 Turn on the computer.
3 Do not insert the serial interface cable.
4 Install the software driver as described in the installation guide.
Result
Once the software driver has been installed, plug in the serial interface cable. You can now
communicate with the transceiver.

Removing the USB flash drive from the WBT
Mini
The USB flash drive is inserted and extracted through a dedicated access panel on the WBT
Mini.
Prerequisites
Whenever you need to open a WBT Mini for parts replacement or other kind of maintenance,
you must do this in a protected environment. Make sure that you have enough working
space and the correct tools.
The following special tool is required for this task:
• Torx screwdriver (T10)
Context
The USB flash drive containing the recorded data is located in a dedicated compartment.
An access panel is used to close the compartment and prevent moisture ingression. The
access panel is fitted with an O-ring. To open and close the access panel, you need a torx
screwdriver with a T10 head.
Note
Do not open and close the access panel unless you also tighten it properly.
Do not remove the USB flash drive, or disconnect the supply power, while the WBT Mini is
recording data during an active mission.
