6.7.5.1 Diagnostics via PROFINET
For PROFINET, to transfer PROFIdrive message classes, channel diagnostics (Channel
Diagnosis) are used (see PROFINET IO specification ( http://www.profibus.com )).
A message always comprises the following components in this specific sequence:
● Block Header (6 Byte)

Blocktype
– Blocklength
– BlockversionHigh
– BlockversionLow
● API (4 Byte)
● Slot Number (2 Byte)
● Sub Slot Number (2 Byte)
● Channel Number (2 Byte)
● Channel Properties (0x8000) (2 Byte)
● User Structure Identifier (2 Byte)
● Channel Diagnosis Data (6 Byte)
