Preparation
Use in the hospital
WARNING
For greater stability, move accessories into
their optimal position for moving the trolley:
z Move hinged arm to its smallest extension.
z Keep hoses as close to the trolley as pos-
sible.
z Hang the humidifier on the trolley, do not
attach to the device!
Otherwise there is a risk of falling.
CAUTION
The maximum speed for moving the trolley is
walking pace.
There is a higher risk of it tilting over at thresholds,
on uneven floors and on ramps. Reduce moving
speed further.
CAUTION
Do not tilt the trolley (with accessories in the worst
position) by more than 10°. Otherwise the tilt sta-
bility is no longer assured.
CAUTION
When using Carina in combination with other
products the equipment's owner must ensure that
it is adequately secured in accordance with the
relevant fundamental requirements of Directive
93/42/EEC.
CAUTION
When moving or repositioning the ventilator,
ensure a firm grip on the handle, as there is a risk
of tilting.
